With Monday being a holiday, I figured it would be a good time to work on the next part of the fence. So I called dad and he came over to help again. The original plan was to get it all finished, but when we took another look at it, we decided that it would be easier to break this half onto 2 sections.
Instead of going from the gate straight into the forest and connecting to the existing fence, we decided to go from the gate, and out an end post just before the forest at the bottom of the slope. Then, as the rest would be in the forest, we figured it wouldn’t need to as strong as the rest, so we are going to run the fencing from the end post and just attach it to the current fence. Of course because the plans changed, we ran out of hardware, so we weren’t able to get it all finished.
We did get from the gate to the forest finished, so there is just the part in the forest left to do. I also got the second gate attached by the dock.
