Weight loss at Herbal Magic has kind of gone the opposite direction since Easter. I was down 40 lbs, bit I’m now back up another 20 or so. Getting fully back onto the weigh loss diet isn’t working for me, so I am now starting an exercise regime. I’m not a big fan of exercising or physical activity, but I’m going to give it a try. I’m going to try to post what I have done after each workout.
I started this on Saturday with pushups, squats, deadlifts (didn’t have any weights, so I grabbed some beer bottles!) and I was supposed to do crunches, but I somehow missed them on my list. This list was put together for me by Jess at Herbal Magic.
When I went back in yesterday, we changed it up a bit because the pushups just weren’t working for me. We got rid of the pushups and replaced them with chest presses, and Jess was kind enough to lend me some actual weights! We also added static lunges, shoulder presses, and front and side deltoid raises, all with weights. I didn’t have a problem with these, except for the static lunges. I’m supposed to do 3 sets of 12 reps for all of these, but there was no way I was going to do that many lunged! My first rep I managed the 12, but went down to 10 for the second rep, and I had to stop at 5 on the last rep cause my legs were hurting too much.
Tonight I take a break from the list, as I will get good cardio work done with ball hockey.
I am going that by posting how I do after each workout, it will help me keep up with doing them.
